Kathryn Moore participates in Harvard design workshop ‘Design Anthropology: Landscapes and Cities’

IMG_1044IFLA President Kathryn Moore was invited to the Radcliffe Institute for Advanced Studies at Harvard University to participate in a “Design Anthropology: Landscapes and Cities” workshop.

The two-day workshop was limited to invited participants from wide ranging disciplines including ethnography, anthropology, architecture and of course landscape architecture.

The workshop was hosted by Gareth Doherty, D.Des, Assistant Professor of Landscape Architecture and Senior Research Associate and Steven Caton, it focused on landscape architectural and urban planning processes and the challenges of incorporating anthropological methods at the larger scale.
