The first academic education program in landscape architecture in Europe began at the then Agricultural University of Norway in 1919, today the Norwegian University of Life Sciences in Ås, Norway. One hundred years onwards, the relatively new discipline of landscape architecture has an opportunity to embrace lessons from the past to project, imagine and envision better futures.
This will be the first ECLAS conference with an explicit focus on landscape education in general and landscape architecture education in particular. Please find more information for abstract submission and the full call here.
Attention: This years’ submission process opens and closes much earlier than usual with a deadline on December 2. The call invites suggestions for extended abstracts, themed sessions, workshops and posters.
We are looking forward to an enriching and stimulation conference on landscape education. Please note that this is a joint conference withUNISCAPE and that the IFLA World annual conference will be organised in Oslo in the same week as a follow-up of the ECLAS conference.
Please help disseminating our call by forwarding this information to your colleagues. We hope that our specific focus on education will be attractive for colleagues who have not visited ECLAS conferences before. Thanks!
