Djurdja Stojicic has a PhD in Biotechnological Science and a Diploma in Landscape Architecture Engineering and Horticulture. Since 2011, she has been teaching at the Faculty of Forestry, Department of the Landscape Architecture and Horticulture, University of Belgrade and her field of study is Landscape Engineering and Ornamental Dendrology. She has taken part in CEEPUS Summer School: Designed landscape – Protection – Planning – Development at Mendel University in Czech Republic. Djurdja is also a member of the Serbian Association of Landscape Architects. (UPAS).
Djurdja recently participated in an International Landscape workshop ‘E-scape: Transitional settlement’ organized by the Landscape Design and Ecosystem Management Department at the American University of Beirut in order to improve living conditions in refugee camps. She has worked on two national projects regarding characteristics of woody plants and climate changes and their impact on environment. As a co-planner she took part in Allariz International Garden Festival in Spain, where her team’s projects were chosen to be constructed.
