Elisa is a registered Landscape Architect and Architect, with a PhD in Urban and Environmental Design. She has over twenty years’ experience in landscape recovery and urban regeneration.
She has been teaching at the Universities of Florence, Pisa, and at the Graduate School of Landscape Architecture of Tsinghua University Beijing, until she moved to the School of Architecture & Built Environment at the University of Adelaide.
She is the co-founder of studiostudio architettiurbanisti, a Swiss-Italian architecture office involved in several plans and projects dealing with low-cost housing and inclusive public space design, and has been an international consultant for UNDP/UNESCO.
Elisa’s design and research interests are related to environmentally sustainable and socially equitable cities and landscapes, in particular with relation to urban water management with a focus on extreme climatic events; urban space regeneration; sustainable mobility and green infrastructures.
