Julia Lent, Hon. ASLA is the Managing Director of Member and Chapter Services for the American Society of Landscape Architects. She oversees member recruitment and retention programs, leadership development, emerging professional and student programs, and chapter support activities. She transitioned to this position after 14 years in Government Affairs. Julia was hired in 2001 to manage the ASLA 50 by 2010 Licensure Campaign, which sought to enact practice act licensure throughout the United States. Prior to her work at ASLA, she advocated for health care issues and crafted legislation for the Pennsylvania House of Representatives.
