Kharbal Kaltho

Kharbal James Kaltho is a Landscape Architect with a background in Architecture and a Masters in Landscape Architecture (MLA) from the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Nigeria. He has experience in Regional planning, Landscape ecology and Landscape spatial analyses and Design. He has conducted a number of studies and publications in the areas of water conservation, Land management, Biomass regeneration, watershed restoration and river basin management as well as degraded landscape regeneration in semi-arid tropics his work is centered on environmental stewardship and civic participation. He is also involved in the design and implementation of other Landscape projects.
He is the Director of Design Infinity Studios Ltd Landscape Architecture Firm. He is the current Chair IFLA-Africa Committee on Communications and External Relations.
He is the public relations officer of the Society of Landscape Architects of Nigeria (SLAN), The Secretary of Northern Regional Chapter Society of Landscape Architects of Nigeria.
He also is a Member of the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) Commission on Environmental, Economic and Social Policy (CEESP) Specialist Group on Sustainable Use and Livelihoods (SULi) and a member of The International Society for Environmental Information Sciences (ISEIS).
