I have been fortunate to have had a long and varied career, now in its 30th year, as a principal of a small practice based initially in Sydney and for the last 23 years in Canberra Australia. Through various opportunities I have had the chance to contribute to international workshops, designs and festivals across the world, most recently as a British Council Fellow, in Japan, February 2015, for the ELEVATE challenge, that considered play in the 21st century.
I am past president of the Australian Institute of Landscape Architects, and was a member of AILA National Board for 10 years from 2003-2013. During this period I travelled widely through Australian and New Zealand, attending local chapter meetings, local and national seminars and conferences, and various IFLA regional and world congresses, in Sydney 2006, and Auckland 2013. I am in the process of curating a public art event that will be exhibited during the October IFLA/APR congress, to be held in Canberra, in 2016.
