I have a Master Degree in landscape architecture from England and an undergraduate degree from Norway. Through my study, my understanding of the importance and complexities of place making has broadened tremendously. I have found my two biggest passions to be the study of environmental psychology, as well as the different uses and benefit of plants. On a personal level I very much enjoy botanic gardens and the art of the Japanese garden, and the sense of wonder and peacefulness these environments give me.
My thesis was on the future role and value of botanic gardens. I also have strong interest in the slow movement as it has branched into Cittaslow (slow city movement), emphasizing the importance of sustainable local consumption and local community appreciation. I would very much like to contribute on future LAWB projects
