XX Landscape Architecture Forum – Professional Practice

img_d1405i1651m_400_168You are invited to participate in the national conference of the twentieth LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTURE FORUM. The conference is organized by the Institute of Landscape Architecture Faculty of Architecture and will be held in Krakow on 21-23 September 2017 year. 

The conference is a summary of the next decade, the annual scientific meetings under the name Forum Landscape Architecture. Since the first forum, held in 1998 in Cracow on the initiative of the Institute of Landscape Architecture Cracow University of Technology, have passed 20 years have brought many changes in all the leading topics of the planned conference. It was a time of discussion on the status of a landscape architect is still building up its position in the professional and legal. During this period, significantly become active associations promoting the wider forums landscape architecture. New ideas, theories and concepts of urban planning, among which include urban landscape, show that the landscape is seen as a guideline, determinant design and purpose. The development also applies to scientific research, which is characterized by interdisciplinarity and diversity resulting from new trends, including, among others, as smart growth, green infrastructure and ecosystem services. Teaching and education are also subject to change. They result from a greater possibility of differentiation of individual programs and educational offer more tailored to the profile of the university and the needs of the labor market. Mode of education has changed in the two-stage and three-stage ended even a doctorate.
